What is the correct way to strap a motorcycle in the bed of a truck for transport?
It's just a little cold in Wisconsin now ride a bike so when I go buy one I'd be able to bring it home without falling off the back of my truck.
Roll the front wheel to the front of the bed. Run a berth for each handle (using the fork tubes just above the lower triple clamp if a fairing in the way) to bag game against either side, unless there is a rail for attachment points on the front of the box. Use a good quality camera-lock tie as ANCRA. Ratchet straps are a pain, and too slow. Shocks compress about 90% of the road. You really do not need anything back. The ribs on the floor of the bed keep the rear wheel moves from side to side.
